In Europe, safety membranes are required in needle modules. All PMU needles on our website are equipped with a safety membrane in accordance with EU guidelines.
What is a safety membrane in PMU needles?
The safety membrane In a PMU and tattoo cartridge, there is a thin, flexible seal at the back of the needle module. This membrane moves with the needle during operation, but completely seals the cartridge from the machine to prevent blood, fluid, or pigment from flowing back, thereby preventing cross-contamination. A high-quality membrane ensures consistent needle pressure, reduced vibration, and controlled pigment deposition.
