REACH Regulation - Effective January 4, 2022
The REACH Regulation for PMU pigments took effect on January 4, 2022. This has a major impact on the use of many PMU pigments as well as on the selection in our shop.
Here is what we know about PMU pigments
We know thatnot only will the pigments be modified, but the quantities of certain ingredients will also change (e.g., isopropanol). This means that while certain pigment colors may be allowed to remain, they must be formulated differently in accordance with the new REACH guidelines. As a result, the composition of the colors that are “allowed to remain” may still change.
We know thatPerma Blend (and therefore also Tina Davies and Brow Daddy) is currently hard at work developing new pigments in compliance with REACH guidelines.
We know thatPerma Blend will soon be launching a new collection called LUXE. All pigments in this collection are produced in accordance with European guidelines. Of course, you’ll be able to find this new collection at Amavi very soon. Follow us on social media so you don’t miss out on any updates.
What we unfortunately don’t know yet...
Unfortunately, we don’t know everything. We don’t know exactly which pigments will ultimately be allowed to remain. So, at this time, we don’t want to offer any advice or make any statements about that. Starting January 4, 2022, you’ll only find the pigments we’re certain about on our website.
We don’t know exactly when Perma Blend’s LUXE line will be released. It is expected to be in early 2022. We are, of course, eagerly awaiting it as well and definitely plan to add it to our selection immediately. in our product range.
For now?
For now, the latest pigments from Perma Blend, Tina Davies, and Brow Daddy can only be found on our website under the “practice pigments” category. These pigments may no longer be used during treatments. However, you can use them to practice on practice skins; we offer them at a low price so you don’t have to open your beautiful new pigments just to practice.

REACH-compliant pigments starting January 4, 2022
Currently, only BIOTEK is REACH-compliant in our range. Perma Blend LUXE will be available from us soon. We also continue to look for other great brands to add to our collection.
Within the BIOTEK range, 58 pigments compliant with REACH guidelines (2022) are available. Pigments for eyebrows; the eyebrow pigments can be used for both PMU and microblading; eyeliner & infralashes; lips; skin tones; thinner; and 9 correction pigments.
We offer the pigments in 7 ml airless pump bottles. The pigments are now available for €19.99 in our webshop. Good to know: all Biotek products are manufactured in Italy. This means the products always comply with European guidelines.
