What is the difference between a 1-point needle and a 3-point needle? When should you choose a 1-point needle or a 3-point needle?
Paula Klemmer from Beauty By Us has created a video to demonstrate the difference between the pixels of a 1P Round Liner 0.25, a 1P Round Liner 0.30, and the 3P Round Liner 0.25.
Difference Between 1P Round Liners in Permanent Makeup
1-point Round Liner 0.25
The 1P / 0.25 is a 1-point needle; the needle module contains 1 needle. This needle is ultra-thin and narrow, making it ideal for use in finer work such as: machine hair strokes, eyebrow outlines, or for an outline in PMU lips.
1-Point Round Liner 30
The 1P / 0.30 is also a 1-point needle, but this needle is slightly “thicker.” The number 0.30 represents the needle’s thickness in mm. The needle feels less sharp on the skin; you can also use it to create beautiful pixelation on the lips, for example.
3-Point Round Liner 25
The 3P/0.25 is a 3-point needle. This module contains 3 needles arranged together in a round formation (Round Liner). The 3 needles make it easier to deposit pigment. With 3 needles, you can create more pixels in a single stroke than with a 1-point needle. You cover a slightly larger area, which allows you to work faster than with a 1-point needle.
Of course, there are many more configurations to choose from for PMU. View and order needle types from various brands at Amavi PMU.
Best regards, Paula
