Hybrid Dye Oat: Light, Warm & Natural.
This soft beige-brown shade is perfect for customers with a very light hair color or for those who like a barely-there brow. Hybrid Dye Oat gives little to no imprint on the skin, but colors the hair in a natural way. Ideal after a Brow Lamination, when the hairs are straight up and just need some color for more depth.
PowerStain Cool Mist: Fresh & Refined.
Cool Mist is a light, cool gray shade within the PowerStain line. This color also leaves a minimal imprint on the skin behind, but it does provide a fresh look to the hairs. Wonderful for cool types or customers who are afraid of eyebrows that are too dark.
5 Tips For The Perfect Hybrid Brows.
With Mrs.Highbrow Hybrid Dye create brows that not only color hairs, but also leave a sleek, even print on the skin. Provided you the right steps follows. These are the 5 indispensable tips for a perfect result.
1. Clean & Dry Thoroughly.
Use an oil-free cleanser or Skin Prep Lotion to remove all make-up, sebum and cream. Possibly followed by a cotton ball with some Treatment Enhancer, so that you also remove traces of cleaning products.
Note: Do not cleanse the skin alone, but also pat dry thoroughly before you start. Moist skin ensures less adhesion of the pigment.
2. Mix In The Right Ratio.
Use the perfect ratio for a well-adhering texture: 2 parts Hybrid Dye or Powerstain + 1 part Developer.
Stir until smooth. Not too thin (then it will run out), not too thick (then it won't stick well to the skin).
3. Apply a Thick Coat.
For a sharp print on the skin it is important to use a rich, even coat of paint to apply. Applying too thinly = too little result.
Make sure you cover the entire eyebrow well and keep the edges neat and taut by dabbing it with a cotton swab Tint Remover to pass by.
4. Get under the hair.
Use one angled brush and work accurately. Pull the product well under the eyebrow hairs so that the skin under the hair is also colored. Especially with a full brow, it is important that sufficient paint reaches the skin.
5. Leave it on for long enough.
Let the Hybrid Dye 10 to 15 minutes Withdraw and PowerStain for approx. 10 minutes, depending on the chosen color and skin type. You can remove the roots after about 5 minutes for a beautiful ombre effect.
Note: The longer you leave the paint on, the more intense the print. For oilier skin types, some extra time is recommended. If the skin is really very oily, an impression on the skin is unfortunately difficult to achieve.
Extra Tip: Little Hair = Less Print.
For customers with very few eyebrow hairs, the paint adheres less well to the skin. For example, it is not possible to make an eyebrow much wider or longer.
Explain this clearly in advance, so that your customer knows what to expect.
