Alcohol Podior 80% ~ 1 liter

Alcohol Podior is a cleaning solution suitable for disinfecting surfaces and instruments. Alcohol Podior 80% is recommended for use in sanitizing and disinfecting work materials and tools. Do not use this product on open skin or skin that is yet to be treated. It can, however, be used to disinfect non-traumatized (intact) skin, such as the hands. 

Surface cleaning:

First clean the surface to be treated with clean water and soap/cleaning agent. Apply the cleaning agent to the surface using a cloth or a wad of cleaning paper and let it sit for approximately 5 minutes. When disinfecting, use enough liquid to keep the surface wet throughout the entire contact time.

Then wipe the surface dry with a dust cloth. Contact time: approximately 5 minutes.

Skin disinfection:

This product is intended only for the disinfection of non-traumatized skin; the skin must remain intact during treatment, such as on the hands. After the Podior 80% disinfectant has been applied to the skin, the skin must not be traumatized. Podior 80% is therefore not suitable for use in disinfecting the skin during micropigmentation or PMU treatments. Use (green) soap to disinfect the skin to be treated.

Podior 80% can be used to disinfect hands; however, we recommend using a hand sanitizer for that purpose. Excessive use of Podior Alcohol as a hand sanitizer strips your hands of their natural lipid barrier, which can cause them to become dry and irritated. Products such as Sterilium hand sanitizer contain moisturizers, making them suitable for the hands because they apply a temporary lipid layer to the skin until the skin has restored its natural lipid layer.

Alcohol Podior is a biocide; use biocides safely. The ready-to-use liquid is based on denatured ethyl alcohol and hashas authorization number N-14331 / Belgium B-6615.
