Setting Cream Step 2 ~ Lash Elevation

The second step in the lash-lifting process. For visually longer, natural-looking lashes. Mrs.Highbrow Setting Cream has a short processing time and comes in a hygienic pump bottle. 

With Mrs.Highbrow Lash Elevation, you curl and lift your lashes, making them appear much longer. Thanks to the short processing time, you’re done in 45 minutes.

The results of the lash lift depend on the natural lashes. With very short or stiff lashes, the results will be less visible, or the treatment may even be completely inadvisable.

A lash lift is not a substitute for mascara, as it does not make the lashes thicker. Advise your clients to use mascara for an extra wow effect. Mascara can be used 24 hours after the treatment.

Step-by-Step Guide to the Most Beautiful Lash Lift

Clean the area around the eyes with an oil-free product to remove dirt and makeup residue. Have the client open their eyes and look at you. Apply eye padsdirectlyover the lower lashes and ask the client to close their eyes once they are comfortably in place. Apply the adhesive to the back of the silicone shield. Place the shield as close to the roots as possible on the eyelid. Gently lift the eyebrow when placing the lift shields to ensure proper adhesion. Apply the adhesive in small sections to the top of the lash shield. Using the lash lift tool,gentlypull the lashes firmly onto the shield. Do this lash by lash. Check from the front to ensure it is as symmetrical as possible on both eyes.

Apply Step 1 Lifting Cream with a clean microbrush. Apply the cream from the root to 2/3 of the way along the lash. Allow it to set (see Processing Time). Once the processing time has elapsed, remove the Lifting Cream with a cotton swab using upward strokes. Wipe off any excess onto a tissue.

Use a cotton swab in small circular motions to loosen the lashes from the lift shields. Remove the lash lift shields.

Apply mascara if desired. Let it set for up to 6 minutes. Because the lashes have just been treated, the mascara sets faster. Gently brush the lashes with a disposable spoolie.

Apply Step 3 Conditioning Oil along the entire length of the lashes. Let it sit for 60 seconds. Wipe from root to tip with two cotton swabs to remove excess product, including any adhesive left on the lashes. Remove the eye pads.

Proper Aftercare

Provide your client with thorough aftercare advice for optimal results following the lash lift treatment.

• For the first 24 hours after the treatment, the lashes must be treated with care: avoid steam rooms and saunas during this time, avoid getting excess water on the lashes, and do not use mascara.
  
• After 24 hours, the client can treat her lashes as she normally would.
  
• If irritation occurs, the client should return to the salon or seek medical advice Find out more.
  
• We recommend that clients avoid using waterproof mascara while enjoying the lash lift.
  
• The treatment can be repeated every 6–8 weeks, depending on the natural eyelash growth cycle.
