Hybrid Brows are the go-to choice for full, defined eyebrows with long-lasting results. With Mrs.Highbrow’s professional Hybrid Dye—available in two powerful formulas—you, as a specialist, can effortlessly create a sharp, even tint.
The result of Hybrid Brows can be compared to Henna Brows: dye that not only colors the hairs but also the skin underneath. This kind ofimprint on the skinmakeseyebrows look much fuller and more defined.
The formula combines the intensity of henna with the convenience of traditional eyebrow dye. Hybrid Dye lasts an average of 7 days on the skin, sometimes even longer.
Two Types of Hybrid Dye.
Mrs.Highbrow offers two powerful formulas for Hybrid Brows, specially developed for professionals:
1. Hybrid Dye in gel form.
- Fine gel texture
- Easy to dispense
- Perfect for precise application.
2. PowerStain Liquid Hybrid Dye.
- Liquid
- Fast processing time
- Ideal for experienced specialists who want to combine speed with impact
Both formulas areammonia-free, richly pigmented, and designed to leave a good imprint* on the skin.
*Note: the light colors (such as Hybrid Dye Oat and PowerStain Cool Mist) leave a minimal imprint. These colors are primarily intended for clients who want a very subtle and natural look. They are mainly used to color the hairs.

Soft Shades, Subtle Effect.
Not every client wants a sharp, super-dark imprint on the skin. Some people prefer a natural look, or just want to give their eyebrows that little bit of extra definition. For this, there are special shades within the Mrs.Highbrow range that create a subtle, refined look.
Hybrid Dye Oat: Light, Warm & Natural.
This soft beige-brown shade is perfect for clients with very light hair color or for those who love a barely-there brow.
slittle to no transfer onto the skin but colors the hairs in a natural way. Ideal after aBrow Lamination, when the hairs are standing straight up and just need a bit of color for more depth.
PowerStain Cool Mist: Fresh & Refined.
Cool Mist is a light, cool gray shade within the PowerStain line. This color, too, leavesa minimal tint on the skin, but gives the hairs a fresh look. Perfect for those with cool undertones or clients who are afraid of eyebrows that are too dark.
5 Tips for Perfect Hybrid Brows.
With Mrs.Highbrow Hybrid Dye, you can create brows that not only color the hairs but also leave a crisp, even imprint on the skin—provided youfollowthe right steps. Here are the 5 essential tips for a perfect result.
1. Cleanse & Dry Thoroughly.
Use an oil-free cleanser orSkinPrep Lotiontoremove all makeup, sebum, and cream. If necessary, follow up with a cotton pad and someTreatmentEnhancer to remove any traces of the cleansing products.
Note: Don’t just cleanse the skin—make sure to pat it dry thoroughlybeforeyou begin. Damp skin reduces the pigment’s adhesion.
2. Mix in the Right Proportion.
Use the perfect ratio for a texture that adheres well:2 partsHybrid Dye or Powerstain + 1 part Developer.
Stir until smooth. Not too thin (it will run), not too thick (it won’t adhere well to the skin).
3. Apply a Thick Layer.
For a sharp impression on the skin, it’s important toapplyarich, even layer of dye. Applying it too thinly = poor results.
Make sure you cover the entire eyebrow well and keep the edges neat and clean by goingoverthem with a cotton swab dipped inTintRemover.
4. Work Well Under the Hairs.
Use anangled brushandwork precisely.Pullthe product wellunderthe eyebrow hairs so that the skin beneath the hairs is also colored. Especially with a full brow, it’s important that enough dye reaches the skin.
5. Allow Enough Time for
the Dyeto Set.
Let the Hybrid Dyeset for10 to 15 minutes and PowerStain for about 10 minutes, depending on the chosen color and skin type. Remove the initial application after about 5 minutes for a beautiful ombre effect.
Note: The longer you leave the dye on, the more intense the print will be. For oilier skin types, a little extra time is recommended. If the skin is very oily, it’s unfortunately difficult to get a clear print on the skin.
Extra Tip: Less Hair = Less Print.
For clients with very few eyebrow hairs, the dye doesn’t adhere as well to the skin. This means it’s not possible to make an eyebrow much wider or longer.
